Proposals, Planning, and Management

  • Our team takes the anxiety and burdensome work out of applying for funding.  We have experience in applying for various levels of government funding, philanthropic opportunities, and increasing portfolios of funding to ensure that programs and projects can meet the needs of neighbors who are at-risk of or experiencing homelessness.  We can tailor our approach to work with existing organizational grant writers or fully provide this service without. 

  • Our team has over 50 years of combined in-depth experience leading varying groups of people with different interests, backgrounds, and system representation through consensus decision making processes. We have facilitated groups as large as 50+ attendees made up of government, philanthropy, private sector, non-profit, activist, coalitions, and people with lived experience, where an affirmative and respectful environment is cultivated, led by mutual community agreements. We are skilled at guiding productive movement towards collective goals and outcomes, using a variety of activities that ensure participant's voices are being heard with the ultimate goal of communities working together toward a shared vision.

  • We excel at ensuring projects are on task by meeting timelines, milestones, and deliverables.  We offer the option of a full team approach to ensure that you will have access to responsive availability to meet higher needs and urgent priorities through a tiered response system. 

  • Our team are experts at developing direction with actionable steps keeping your visions and dreams at the forefront.  We ensure full community participation and through proven interactive activities, create a blueprint for direction and momentum towards successful completion of desired outcomes. 

Design, Strategies, and Analysis

  • Using funding requirements and guidelines and your community’s available data, our team will apply creative methods to enhance performance, strategically impact historically disenfranchised populations, and embed meaningful strategies to increase program utilization and outcomes. 

  • Our team offers a framework that supports a dignified, ethical, and human centered Decommissioning Housing Surge approach, a pre-packaged set of tools, timelines, logistical planning, and operational team development co-created with community partners and providers to create pathways to housing and services for unsheltered neighbors sleeping in encampment communities. In partnership with a dedicated Core Team of community experts, we adapt the tools to meet your needs and align with your cultural practices and community based best practices. 

  • Developing low to no barrier intervention and prevention through cash disbursement to neighbors who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness.  We come with a full team package consisting of financial partner, evaluation partner, and project management. Our team supports identifying local direct service providers that have the capacity to provide participant centered services that align with the values of autonomy, dignity, and access to monetary capital. 

  • Our needs assessment is a systematic data-driven process of identifying and understanding the needs of a system, organization, program, or community to prioritize areas for improvement, intervention, or enhancement.  Our gaps analysis will compare the current state to an optimal state, highlighting the differences or gaps. This helps us pinpoint specific areas where performance, resources, or outcomes are falling short. Paired with other offerings and services, we can create a robust and holistic perspective by ensuring that interventions are targeted to the most critical areas. 

Storytelling and Improvements

  • Numbers will not tell the entire story.  We ethically and consensually craft stories of neighbors who are at-risk or experiencing homelessness with the inclusion of the project’s processes through the art of storytelling.  Visual and verbal documentation of the real life experience through the process and pathways to housing, healing, and care.

  • Our systems improvement approach focuses on enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.  Through evaluating resource optimization, scalability, and consistency, we leverage strengths and consider innovative approaches to improve areas of opportunities.

  • We utilize data-driven insights to identify areas of success and potential opportunities for growth, ensuring that improvements are sustained and scalable. By focusing on building on existing strengths, we enhance processes while maintaining high standards of system and program quality. Our approach to program evaluation is led by participant and staff surveys to measure the effectiveness of initiatives, identifying areas where positive impact has been achieved and where further opportunities lie.

  • Varied levels of support for establishing and integrating groups of PLEE; coordination, payment methods, governance, by-laws, training, preparation, and debrief.  Ensuring that the authentic inclusion of the population is trauma-informed and strengths-based. 

  • We provide tailored support at every stage of a Youth Action Board's journey, including recruitment, development, coordination, and governance.  We offer varying levels of support; payment methods and structures, by-laws development, training, preparation, and debrief.  We are committed to preventing tokenization by facilitating and fostering authentic inclusion through:

    • Power-Sharing Structures: Youth and young adults are integrated into decision-making and governance, ensuring they hold meaningful, impactful roles in shaping outcomes.

    • Inclusive Decision-Making: Engaging youth in collaborative and shared decision-making processes that elevate their voices.

    • Preventing Tokenization: Ensuring youth are seen as valued partners, not just symbolic participants, by fostering true collaboration with adult counterparts.

    We partner with older adults to create sustainable, long-term participation opportunities for youth. We also develop transition plans that ensure youth and young adults continue to contribute and find meaningful roles as they age beyond 25, fostering a lifecycle of engagement.
